Oil Region Paranormal Investigation Team Investigations

The Oil Region Paranormal Investigation Team investigated a local cemetery office building on 01-09-09.  Our client requested that the investigation location, names of all employees or people involved remain confidential.  Therefore much information about the investigation will be omitted from internet web posting.

Employee account of activity:

It is reported that in the office building where they stored items, that particular items associated with an individual that was buried at the cemetery were breaking.

On three occasions picture frames that housed a photo and write up of the deceased person broke in the exact same manor, from corner to corner.

It is also reported that this same individuals marker plate was broken on three occasions.

The employee reports that at the time of the picture frames being broken that other frames were stored in the same location and none of the other frames broke therefore she didn’t feel that it was any elements that caused the frames to break. 

The employee also states that the marker for the grave stone being broken on three occasions was odd.  She says that every now and again a marker will be broken upon delivery but to have the marker that was associated with the same deceased individual being broken on three occasions seemed to be a little more then coincidence.

The employee states that the deceased individual associated with the items had passed of natural causes.  She also states that there seemed to be a lot of fighting and bickering between the family of the deceased on what family member was going to pay for burial related items.

No other reports of activity were reported.

Investigation:

ORPIT members arrived at the investigation location at 8:00pm.  The weather was cold 22 degrees to start, 12 degrees at the end of the investigation with snow showers throughout the night.

All active members were present for the investigation and the following equipment was utilized.

-DVR video I.R. surveillance equipment.

-Handheld Mini DV I.R. Camcorders

-Digital Voice Recorders

-EMF detectors

-K2 Meter

-Digital Camera’s

-Etch O Sketch’s

-I.R. thermometers

-35mm Camera

During the investigation ORPIT gathered:

8 hrs 35 min of video

6 hrs 45 min of audio

189 photos

There were no fluctuations associated with any of the metering equipment that was being used.  There were also no reported personal experiences.

After review of all of the collected video, audio and photos there was nothing anomalous captured in any of the recording devices.

It is our groups opinion that there is no sort of activity currently happening at the cemetery office building.  One thought is that the previous reported activity was strictly based around one deceased individual and his family.  The activity that was reported did show that the deceased may have had detest about his burial and the fact that it was causing his family to fight.  Once everything was finalized and the business portion of the burial was taken care of all activity ceased.
