Oil Region Paranormal Investigation Team Investigations

The Oil Region Paranormal Investigation Team headed back to the private Clarion County residence on 7-11-09 for a follow up investigation.
Our clients reported that after the last investigation that we had done, on 4-24-09, that the activity had increased in the residence.
Our client reported that her young son, who had no idea that our team was there, was reporting that he was seeing a man and woman in his bedroom while he was playing video games.
She also reported that she was getting ready to shower one day and an uneasy feeling came over her. She said that she tried to stand her ground and ordered whatever was in the bathroom with her to get out and leave her alone. She stated that the bathroom door then shut on its own.
Other new reports included more voices being heard, an increase in footsteps, an increase in shadow apparitions darting throughout the first floor and the client seeing orbs and “vortex” like objects with the naked eye floating through the air.
Again the entire family were recounting these claims and witnessed by four of the family members.

THE INVESTIGATION

For this investigation we limited the team to three investigators. The family was present (three adults) during the entire investigation in hopes that their presence would help the activity level.

We used the following equipment during the investigation:
4 camera I.R. DVR system
1 static miniDV camera w/ audio
1 mobile miniDV camera w/ audio
3 digital voice recorders
K2 meters
EMF meters
I.R. thermometers
Digital cameras
(other equipment included handheld walkies, flashlights, ect.)

PERSONAL EXPERIENCES

During the investigation there was only one personal experience had by the investigators. Larry and Ryan were sitting on the floor approx three feet apart. Ryan began provoking, for the first time in the residence, calling the spirit nothing more than a coward and that he was most likely a woman beater and a pervert when he was living due to watching the females in the shower.
As soon as that sentence was done Ryan reported feeling a very strong wind go right between himself and Larry. Larry then went to take a photo and his camera shut off. There was now battery low indicator the camera just powered off. Larry then turned the power back on and was able to continue taking photos.

The female client also had a personal experience we felt had to be added to the list. While in the living room she was asking for two relatives that had passed to help her out. She then asked for a sign that they were there and she reported that she was touched on the upper arm area.
We have included that personal experience because a few minutes before she reported being touched we captured a light anomaly in the room directly behind her. (See captured evidence)

CAPTURED DATA

18 hours of video was gathered on the DVR system
7 ½ hours of video and audio was captured on the MiniDV’s
10 hours of audio
173 photos

CAPTURED EVIDENCE

No evidence was captured on any of the DVR camera’s, the static MiniDV camera or any of the photos.

With the mobile MiniDV camera we were able to capture the below light anomaly. We have muted the sound on the video due to the client talking and using the name of one of her relatives that has passed. In short this was when the female client was talking to one of her relatives asking for a sign that he was there and was helping her and we captured this light anomaly. You will see it in full speed, then half speed, then at a close up at half speed. Just watch the top center part of the screen.

In all of the audio recordings the following EVP was captured. We did capture some other noises that sounded as though it may have been an EVP but we were unable to make out what was trying to be said.
This EVP was taken also while in the living room. Just listen in the gaps between where the male was talking.
The one EVP is near the beginning after the males says that the spirit likes to be in control of things. There is a forced whisper. Then later on it sounds clear that a female is trying to talk after he tells it to get out.
At the last gap the noise you hear is someone clearing their throat.

No other evidence was captured during the investigation.

Again it is our opinion that there is a lot of activity in the walls of this residence. We have been able to capture data that would show this paranormal activity to be residual in part and also part intelligent.
